System migrations present both disruption and opportunity. The transition to Ex Libris Alma required staff training, documentation development, and workflow adaptation.

I completed advanced training modules and developed onboarding manuals and procedural documentation to support access services staff and student assistants during the migration process.

Outcome

The documentation improved consistency in system use and supported smoother adoption of new digital workflows.

Reflection

Engagement with systems change strengthened my understanding of how integrated library systems shape collection discovery, resource sharing, and user access. Technological fluency is essential to contemporary collections management.
